Job Overview Ce Soir Naples is seeking a professional, knowledgeable, and hospitality-focused Bartender to craft exceptional cocktails, provide personalized service, and elevate the guest experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for fine spirits, wine, and culinary pairing, and thrives in an elegant, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Service & Hospitality Provide welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest. Engage with guests to recommend cocktails, wine pairings, and premium spirits. Anticipate guest needs and personalize service accordingly. 2. Beverage Preparation Prepare and serve classic and contemporary craft cocktails with precision and consistency. Follow house recipes and maintain the integrity of the bar program. Ensure proper glassware, garnishes, and presentation for all beverages. 3. Product Knowledge Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beer. Stay current on seasonal menus, featured ingredients, and promotions. Participate in tastings and continued education on bar offerings. 4. Operational Excellence Set up and break down bar stations efficiently and neatly. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and par levels of the bar throughout service. Follow all state and local liquor laws and Ce Soir's responsible alcohol service policies. 5. Cash Handling & POS Accurately take and enter guest orders using the POS system. Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision. Reconcile daily bar sales and maintain proper check procedures. 6. Team Collaboration Work closely with servers, food runners, barbacks, and managers to ensure seamless service. Communicate effectively during high-volume service. Assist with training and mentoring new bar staff as needed. 7. Inventory & Maintenance Monitor and restock inventory and bar supplies daily. Participate in monthly inventory counts. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' bartending experience in upscale or fine dining environments. Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, classic drinks, wine, and spirits. Professional demeanor, grooming, and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Must be 21 years of age or older with legal authorization to work in the U.S. Florida Responsible Vendor or alcohol certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and poise.
