Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Aloha POS Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless coordination. Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements. Experience with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws. Skilled in sales techniques to upsell drinks and promote special offerings effectively.
