Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders efficiently while providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Restock bar supplies promptly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to deliver exceptional service in high-volume settings. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours without compromising quality. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations related to sales. Previous experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory management.
