Job Summary:
The World Equestrian Center - Ocala is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bar Back to support the opening and daily operations of White Willow ; our refined Asian dining concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives behind the scenes, ensuring the bar operates with precision, elegance, and efficiency. As a Bar Back at White Willow, you will play a vital role in supporting our bartenders, maintaining the bar's presentation, and contributing to the seamless delivery of elevated beverage service. Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, spirits, and mixers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service. Assist bartenders with preparation tasks, including juicing, batching, and restocking. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management. Support the setup and breakdown of bar stations for daily service and special events. Uphold the highest standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Assist with trash removal, recycling, and bar maintenance duties. Respond promptly to bartender requests during service to ensure smooth operations. Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment. Physical Requirements:
These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for handling bar tools and supplies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-touch environment. Clear and effective communication in both verbal and written formats. Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Minimum of 1 year experience in a bar support or back-of-house role within an upscale or fine dining environment preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure. Professional appearance and demeanor. Willingness to learn and grow within a luxury hospitality setting. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
