Bartender

• This is a tipped position paid at the state tipped minimum wage plus tips. Wages stated are average earnings per hour when tips are added.

We are looking for bartenders who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude. Should be able to multitask, balancing physical job functions with guest engagement for dinner and brunch service, possible Night Club shift.

Job Requirements:

2 years prior experience as a high-volume bartender, casual dining or above. Must have alcohol knowledge. Adhere to food safety and responsible alcohol service standards. Be at least 18 years of age. Cuba Libre specializes in rum and mojitos, offering more than 90 premium and flavored varieties of dark, light, spiced, and aged rums, and many varieties of mojitos. The restaurant's premium cocktail selection uses a wide variety of fresh ingredients including numerous tropical fruits and juices. Cuba Libre presses, by hand, hundreds of pounds of fresh sugar cane weekly to extract sugar cane juice, known as guarapo, used to sweeten its signature cocktail, the mojito. Cuba Libre recognizes the importance of music and rhythm in Cuban culture, transforming after dinner on weekends into a late-night Latin hot spot featuring DJs spinning a mix of Latin music, with live performers and dancing.
