Job Description
Essential Job Functions Thoroughly prepares and cleans assigned workstations, completes all scheduled side-work, and maintains restaurant standards throughout the shift. Demonstrates strong knowledge of menu items, preparation, garnishes, daily specials, beverages, wines, 86'd items, alcoholic beverages, and service etiquette; confidently answers guest questions. Promptly greets and attends to guests, uses suggestive selling techniques, accurately takes and enters orders, and ensures food and beverages are properly presented and served promptly. Pre-busses and resets tables, follows proper guest check and kitchen procedures, monitors guest needs, communicates supply needs to management, and maintains knowledge of the property and its facilities. Follow recipes and preparation standards to prepare food with proper taste, quality, and presentation; complete prep tasks, including cutting and trimming meats, as needed. Safely operate kitchen equipment while maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, proper stock rotation, and food storage practices.
Minimize waste, maintain appropriate stock levels, label/date/store products properly, attend pre-shift meetings, and communicate supply needs to management. This is a full-time position (up to 32 hours per week); must be available for the evening shift 4pm-11pm including holidays, & weekends Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties, work hours and/or responsibilities for this job at any time. Experience/Education High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
