Position Overview:

We're seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable bartender to join our tasting room team. This role is all about creating elevated cocktails that showcase our handcrafted spirits, educating guests about our brand and distillation process, and helping foster the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that defines Distillery 98.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve signature cocktails, spirit flights, and tastings using Distillery 98 products Provide friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable customer service to all guests Educate visitors about our spirits, distillation process, and brand story Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Handle opening and closing duties for the tasting room Support retail bottle sales and merchandise transactions Assist with private events, tours, and on-site activations as needed Follow all local and state alcohol service laws and safety standards

Qualifications:

1+ year of bartending or craft cocktail experience preferred A passion for spirits, sustainability, and the craft distilling industry Strong communication skills and a personable, team-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Must be 21+ and have (or be able to obtain) required alcohol service certifications (e.g. TIPS) Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and special events
