Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels regularly, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management proactively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or special events like banquets and catering functions. Requirements Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, with specific experience as a bartender preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks seamlessly. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of service. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures for beverages and food items.
