— Katana Cocina Nikkei Weston, FL | Part-Time & Full-Time Available About the role Katana Cocina Nikkei is a high-energy Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) restaurant in Weston, FL with a full cocktail bar and a fast-paced service environment. We're looking for a bartender or experienced barback ready to step up — someone who takes pride in their craft, works clean, and thrives behind a busy bar. This is a production bar, not a lounge. Our bartenders work alongside a full service team, executing cocktails at volume with precision. You won't be chatting up bar guests all night — you'll be building drinks fast, plating desserts, and keeping the bar spotless. If that sounds like your kind of shift, read on. What you'll do — Prepare all cocktails to recipe using measured ounce pours — no free pouring — Execute classic cocktails: Negroni, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned, Pisco Sour, Chilcano, and more — Learn and consistently produce our full house cocktail menu — Know your technique: which cocktails are shaken, which are stirred, what goes neat, on the rocks, or straight up — Make all teas, coffees, and non-alcoholic beverages — Plate and decorate desserts to standard — Maintain a clean, organized bar throughout every shift — mise en place before service, full breakdown after — Manage stock levels, and proper storage — Support the service team throughout the shift What we're looking for — Solid working knowledge of bartending fundamentals: jiggers, shakers, strainers, pourers (nipples), bar spoons, and proper technique — Familiarity with classic cocktail families and how they're built — Measured, accurate pours — we use ounce pours on everything — Food handler certification preferred; alcohol service certification (TIPS or equivalent) a strong plus — Clean, organized work habits — you reset as you go, not at the end — Reliable, punctual, and a team player — this role supports the whole floor — Experience as a barback, junior bartender, or in a high-volume kitchen or café is welcome — full bartender experience preferred but not required if you know your fundamentals What we offer — Competitive pay + tips (servers tip out to the bar) — A kitchen and bar team that takes food and drink seriously — Room to grow as we continue to build the program — A beautiful restaurant with a menu worth knowing To apply: Send your resume and a brief note about your bar experience to [EMAIL].
