BARTENDER

The Springs Cinema & Taphouse is an 8-plex cinema in the rapidly growing community of Sandy Springs, just north of Buckhead. This theatre is independently owned and was recently renovated to include luxury recliners, a full kitchen, and a full bar. The Springs has been the fastest growing theater in Atlanta over the past 3 years and is building up its team to keep up with its increasing business. Responsibilities Include:

To be a member of our bartending team; you are a true master of the craft, able to think on your feet, can clearly communicate with others, and are dedicated to quality and great service. As a bartender, you will work directly with guests in our specialty bar that features 18 draft lines of craft beer, over 20 wines, specialty cocktails and a full range of liquor including premium top shelf offerings. At The Springs, you get paid to do your best work and are encouraged to show your true personality. While no two days are alike and we may get really busy, we are a group of people who promote teamwork, encourage a fun work environment, and share common goals of creating fantastic drinks for our guests.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Ensure the bar is safe. If you work at the specialty bar, checking IDs and cutting people off is not the most fun parts of the job, but they are important. Maintain a steady flow of drinks at the bar. This requires keeping an eye on inventory, multitasking and being organized. Make quality spirits, beers, and cocktails. This is the fun part! You'll be responsible for knowing how to create an extensive list of our popular drink selections. Taking food orders from our full kitchen for our bar guests. Work with a smile. The vibe you set could make or break the bar.

Success:

Are at least 18 years of age You are good on your feet with the ability to stand/walk for 100% of the shift You are dependable: You come to work on time, work with a team, and available to work on the weekends Working with a team is easy and you can communicate your needs in English in writing and verbally You have a thirst to learn more about bartending but already have basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and familiar with standard drink recipes You know and continue to adhere to all applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance requirements (including getting licensed/certified when applicable) Change is not a scary word to you. You thrive in organizations that constantly adapt and evolve.
