Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and balance registers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events, ensuring smooth coordination during busy hours or special functions. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws; prior nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
