Bartender

Luga Italian Eatery is seeking experienced bartenders to join our opening team in Decatur. We are building an upscale yet approachable neighborhood restaurant focused on authentic Italian cuisine, thoughtful hospitality, craft cocktails, and a curated wine program. This is an opportunity to be part of a restaurant designed to become a local favorite and a gathering place for the community.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or cocktail bar Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and modern mixology techniques Wine knowledge and confidence discussing wine with guests Ability to provide warm, polished, and engaging hospitality Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills Ability to multitask and maintain organization during busy services

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages Guide guests through beverage selections and make thoughtful recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment Ensure consistency in recipes, presentation, and service standards Work closely with servers, support staff, and management to create an exceptional guest experience Follow all alcohol service and safety guidelines
