Bartender

Summary of Position:

Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests. Each bartender's primary objective is to create an exceptional dining experience by providing thorough menu knowledge, demonstrating attentiveness and exuding friendly personality. Be knowledgeable on alcoholic beverages and food items we serve on the menu and daily specials.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or General Education Development or General Education Diploma (GED). Two Years on the job experience in a restaurant. Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, strong verbal communication skills. Ability to lift 50lbs. Have an overall knowledge about classic and modern cocktails. Be able to create a cocktail for any palette. Be able to talk to any and every guest about any and everything. BAR certification preferable.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

Promote, work and acts in accordance with Seed Hospitality Group Core Purpose and Core Values, The company policies as described in the employee handbook, and Work procedures (Steps of service) Attend training and pass the bartender certification test. Strictly follow the company's Alcohol Service Policy and ensure proofing of minors who appear to be under 30 years old. Provide guests with dining experience to ensure guests satisfaction with the food, beverage and service, and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes. Adhere to the FOH--Bar's opening and closing checklists. Ensure accurate order received from vendors by checking the invoice and counting deliveries. Effectively use our POS system. Assist with weekly inventory. Ensure a bar station and POS system are cleaned and neat before and during the service hours. Responsible for counting the initial bank and cash from servers. Polish all glassware to be used behind the bar. Stock bar areas with supplies such as tableware, linens and other necessities. Maintain good personal hygiene and well groom - Follow the company's uniform policy. Attends all daily lineups and brings suggestions for improvement. Be punctual
