Bartender

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclubs or banquet settings, while providing exceptional customer service. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware promptly to ensure smooth operation during busy hours. Follow all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws diligently, including proper serving techniques for alcohol in compliance with legal standards. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant, nightclub, or catering setting. Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred Bilingual strongly preferred Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and wine service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor. Experience working in fine dining or banquet environments is advantageous. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
