We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest dining experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and our house specialty drinks, understand and explain our food menu, as well as exceeding customers' needs and expectations. This is a dual role, all bartenders are required to be a server in the restaurant as well. Compensation includes hourly pay, tips and competition bonuses. Full Open Availability is required for this position. We are located right across the from our sister restaurant The Sauce Italian Kitchen and Bar. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present food and drink menu Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Comply with all company protocols and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook Skills Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/server Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Computer/POS literacy Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
