Job Description
Bartender Sage Hospitality - 3.2 Savannah, GA Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Retail sales transactions Cash amount verification In-person customer service English TIPS Cash register operations Full Job Description Why us? Little James was named for General James Oglethorpe — a small nod to the fact that Ann Street and Oglethorpe Avenue nearly meet just a few blocks apart, and to the man whose name is written all over this city. It's a fitting name for a place that belongs as much to Savannah as it does to The Ann. The café quiets down around five, and the room turns. Low light, Mediterranean and Italian flavors with a tropical lean, a zero-proof program we've put as much thought into as the spirits list, and a monthly wine ritual that starts with a tasting on the first Monday. Fridays bring live music. Thursdays bring chess boards and the kind of lingering conversation that only happens when nobody's rushing anyone out. As a bartender here, the bar is yours to run and yours to read. You're building drinks with real technique, but you're also reading the couple on their first night in town, the regular who wants the usual without asking, the four people who came for one and stayed for three. In a neighborhood living room, the bartender sets the tone. Little James is part of The Ann Savannah, managed by Sage Hospitality Group — a company built on the idea that your success is about more than the work you do, it's about who you are. That's what we mean when we say You Belong . Not a poster in the break room, but the daily practice of it: leaders who know your name and your goals, a team that invests in your craft, and the room to be a full person at work. Sage was founded on a spirit of bold individuality, and we're looking for people who are hungry to learn and who love their community. If that's you, you'll fit here.
