Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Develop new beverage recipes and craft specialty cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting for returning guests. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; coordinate with management for restocking needs. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and following all legal regulations. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in a hotel, fine dining restaurant, or hospitality environment with a focus on beverage service. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically. Experience in food handling, food safety procedures, banquet service, catering events, and cash handling is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills. Knowledge of beverage recipe development and retail math to optimize sales opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
