Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expert drink preparation, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food and beverage knowledge while working in a dynamic environment that values hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism. Duties Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick service during busy hours. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle food service responsibilities by delivering food promptly, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed for safety and quality. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments via POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Assist with catering events or banquet services as needed, supporting large parties or special functions with professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous experience with retail math and cash handling is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during peak hours smoothly. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage diverse guests effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; certification in responsible beverage service is preferred.
