Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders and offering personalized recommendations based on preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash. Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management proactively. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Skills Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings with a strong foundation in mixology and cocktail creation. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service. Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and food service operations within restaurant or catering environments. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events; previous nightclub or banquet experience is a plus. Basic math skills for retail math calculations like change handling and inventory counting; familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
