Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales. Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, recipes, and techniques; develop new beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Operate POS systems square to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Handle cash handling procedures responsibly while processing payments swiftly during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service for events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer options, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems previous experience with beverage recipe development is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically while maintaining professionalism. Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
