Duties include service, cleaning, community engagement, clear communication with guests and staff, dish and beverage development. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work both behind the bar and on the floor depending on business needs, events, and scheduling. Strong hospitality skills, adaptability, and a team-first mindset are essential! This is a seasonal ingredient driven program, and strong menu knowledge is key. We work heavily with unique, foraged, and locally sourced ingredients, and our offerings change frequently based on seasonality and availability. Ability to learn and speak to unfamiliar ingredients, farm sourcing, and evolving menus is a core part of the role.
Bartending Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Contribute to a creative bar program, including seasonal drink and cocktail development
- Create and execute custom cocktails for events, private functions, and special experiences
- Assist with event service duties, including setup, execution, and guest engagement
- Develop and prepare thoughtful non-alcoholic (NA) cocktails and beverages for tasting room offerings
- Take customer orders and provide knowledgeable drink recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and hospitality-driven manner
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and drive sales
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
Server Duties:
- Provide attentive, efficient table service in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver items in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Anticipate guest needs and maintain a high level of table maintenance and cleanliness
- Present menu items and offer recommendations based on guest preferences
- Ensure guests have a positive, seamless, and elevated dining experience
- Support overall floor operations, including resetting tables and maintaining service standards
- Assist with private events and large parties as needed
- Think quickly and adapt in real time to guest needs, changing menus, and high-paced service flow
Requirements:
- This is a dual bartender/server role
- candidates must be comfortable working both bar and floor positions based on business needs
- Strong ability to retain menu knowledge is essential; much of service relies on memory and real-time communication rather than written/tablet order-taking
- Ability to think quickly, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong team-first mindset
- this is a highly collaborative, communication-heavy service environment
- Willingness to learn and speak confidently about seasonal, foraged, and locally sourced ingredients
- Strong interest in hospitality, seasonal menus, and ingredient-driven beverage programs
- Strong communication and guest interaction skills
- Proven experience as a bartender, server or in a similar role
- Knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with restaurant and bartending procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling of beverages
