Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will create memorable experiences for guests by delivering exceptional customer service, expertly serving food and beverages, and maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels valued and enjoys their time with us. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment, whether at the bar, in the dining area, or during special events. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with setup, breakdown, and catering for special events such as banquets or nightclubs. Engage with guests to promote sales of menu items, including beverages like brewing or specialty cocktails, enhancing overall revenue. Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene are upheld at all times. Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service without sacrificing quality. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within a licensed environment; knowledge of brewing processes is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through excellent time management skills. Previous experience working in hospitality environments that require catering or banquet experience is advantageous.
