Server/Bartender

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server and/or Bartender to join our small team in an upscale-casual wine and cider bar. As a Server and/or Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring a memorable experience. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, bussing tables, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the bar. Servers and Bartenders must legally be able to taste wine, and therefore must be at least 21 years of age. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with knowledge of the menu items. Assist guests in selecting items that they'll enjoy. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately. Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Maintain an organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed. Perform various sidework tasks, such as cleaning, doing dishes, polishing glassware, etc... Skills Strong guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure. Experience with wine and/or cider is preferred but not required. We provide training. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate billing. Familiarity with POS systems preferred but not required.
