Full Job Description Base Pay:
$15.00 per hour
Bartender Role Summary:
As a Bartender, you play a vital role in enhancing our guests' drinking experience, skillfully preparing and serving beverages while upholding our high standards of safety and efficiency. Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements, handling guest transactions with accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You'll be vigilant in monitoring consumption to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. We offer a perfect attendance bonus program where employees can earn a $200 cash award each month for maintaining perfect attendance during the summer months and a $100 cash award each month for perfect attendance during the non-summer months.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down the bar in accordance with company guidelines, brand standards, and local laws. Expertly craft and serve a variety of beverages, following established recipes and safety regulations. Manage guest transactions efficiently, adhering to financial handling standards. Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift. Secure liquor inventory and bar equipment, ensuring everything is properly accounted for. Promptly report any guest incidents or feedback to management to ensure quick resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by bartending training. At least one year of bartending experience, with alcohol awareness certification being an advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of beverage preparation, service standards, and regulatory compliance. Proficient in transaction handling and using basic office equipment. Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and remaining composed under pressure. Demonstrated commitment to providing friendly and engaging guest service.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
The job involves working in environments with exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, and noise levels. Physical demands include extended periods of standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and performing tasks requiring physical agility. Must meet the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.
