Job Overview As the Bartender, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through your exceptional bartending skills and passion for crafting unique and innovative cocktails. Attention to detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of craft cocktails are essential for success in this role. Your dedication to staying up-to-date with industry trends and your enthusiasm for experimenting with new techniques and flavors will inspire and delight both our guests and the bar team. By fostering a positive and collaborative environment, you will contribute to the overall success of our business and help us establish our bar as a destination for craft cocktails and exceptional service. You will oversee the arrangement, preparation, and breakdown of all service areas, including the bar, dining areas, storage spaces, and bar refrigerators. Beverage Preparation and Service Create and serve a wide variety of high-quality craft cocktails and beverages with precision and creativity. Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented according to established standards. Collaborate with the management and bar teams to develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain a thorough knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles to provide expert recommendations to guests. Oversee bar service during peak hours, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. Beverage Preparation and Presentation Develop and follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards, while completing and applying daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Provide and model exceptional dining experiences to ensure customer. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment, in line with health and sanitation regulations. Demonstrate an excellent record of bar management and willingness to perform any and all front of house jobs. Prepare beverages quickly to set specifications and standards while maintaining hygienic practices. Direct the creation of beverages and oversee set up of stations for beverage service. Manage on and off-site bars for catering events from beginning through execution. Ensure proper handling, care, and maintenance of bar equipment and tools. Industry Knowledge Current ABST and Serve Safe certification. Commitment to developing a deep understanding of beverage trends. Demonstrate a passion for experimenting with new techniques and ingredients. Share knowledge and insights with the bar team, promoting continuous learning and improvement. Compliance and Safety Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations. Maintain knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance by the bar team. Monitor and enforce age verification procedures to prevent underage drinking. Customer Experience and Engagement Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests, and ensuring their needs and preferences are met. Foster a welcoming and lively atmosphere at the bar, promoting a memorable and enjoyable experience for guests. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Schedule and Availability Participate in and attend company meetings, staff development, and professional programs, as appropriate. Expected to be available for working a variety of shifts, as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Model behavior that is punctual, reliable, and conscientious in your work.
