The Role:
The Bar Prep ( not bartender ) role is an essential member of Mirra's beverage team, responsible for ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organized, and ready for service. This role supports our bartenders by maintaining ingredient pars, preparing house-made syrups and garnishes, and upholding the quality standards that define the Mirra experience.What You'll Do:
Prepare all bar ingredients including juices, syrups, purees, infusions, and garnishes according to par levels. Restock all bar stations with spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar prep area, storage, and coolers. Label, date, and store all prepared items to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards. Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating bar inventory. Communicate effectively with the bar team regarding prep needs, shortages, or quality concerns. Support bartenders during service when necessary to ensure seamless operations.What We're Looking For:
3+ years of Previous bar-back or bar prep experience preferred; Solid knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and cocktail technique A warm, engaging presence with excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Familiarity with proper sanitation and storage procedures.
