We are looking for more than just a drink-maker; we are looking for a brand ambassador who can provide an educational, high-end experience for our guests. You will be responsible for executing our craft cocktail program with precision, maintaining a pristine bar station, and ensuring that every guest—from a first-time visitor to a spirits enthusiast—leaves with a deeper appreciation for our distillery.
Key Responsibilities Craft Mixology & Service Execution:
Prepare classic and signature cocktails according to Tierra Distilling's established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
Spirits Education:
Engage guests by explaining our distillation process, the profiles of our spirits, and the stories behind our ingredients.
Efficiency:
Maintain a fast, organized, and clean workspace even during peak service hours. Manage drink tickets with speed without sacrificing quality. Bar Operations & Maintenance Mise en
Place:
Responsible for daily bar prep, including juicing citrus, preparing house-made syrups, infusions, and ensuring all garnishes meet quality standards.
Inventory Oversight:
Assist the Tasting Room Lead in tracking liquor levels, rotating stock, and restocking bar supplies as needed.
Cleanliness:
Maintain the bar top, back bar, and equipment to health code standards. Execute opening/closing side-work thoroughly and consistently.
Guest Experience & Brand Representation Hospitality:
Act as a face of the brand. Provide a warm, welcoming environment and anticipate guest needs before they arise.
Atmosphere:
Help maintain the "supper club" vibe by monitoring music volume, lighting, and guest flow.
Professionalism:
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in appearance, conduct, and communication at all times.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of experience in a high-volume, craft-focused cocktail bar or upscale lounge (preferred).
Technical Skill:
Solid understanding of classic cocktail structures, modern mixology techniques, and professional bar tools.
Passion:
A genuine interest in the spirits industry, distillation, and craft culture.
Attitude:
A "guest-first" mentality. You find joy in hospitality and take pride in your craft.
Physical:
Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
