Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and creating a welcoming environment. Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Square POS process orders accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth operation during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during events like banquets or nightclubs, supporting overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts, multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and processing payments. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Experience working in catering or banquet environments is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different hospitality settings. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
