Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring that each drink meets our high standards of quality. The Bartender will also engage with customers, take orders, and collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with guests, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately. Knowledge of catering services is a plus, enhancing the ability to serve large groups effectively. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in the food industry is beneficial, contributing to an understanding of service dynamics.
