Ovvio Italian Taverna is looking for a talented and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian wines and cocktails, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of Italian-inspired cocktails, wines, and beverages Greet guests at the bar promptly and courteously Take drink orders accurately and handle multiple orders efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area Ensure all drinks are made according to standard recipes Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Upsell specialty drinks, wine pairings, and daily specials Monitor and restock bar supplies as needed Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience
Qualifications:
Prior bartending experience, preferably in an Italian or upscale restaurant setting Knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and cocktails Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Valid bartending license or permit as required by local regulations
