As a Bartender or Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the restaurant's standards of food safety and guest relations while working efficiently in fine dining settings. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Handle cash transactions using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Assist with food handling by adhering to food safety guidelines at all times. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism to enhance guest relations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. Posses or acquire prior to starting the Illinois Safe Serve and Basset certifications and maintain certifications throughout employment. Skills Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell menu items. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is required. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
