Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Barback. In this vital role, you will support the bar operations by ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment while assisting bartenders and venue staff with various tasks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages throughout shifts Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, sinks, and bar equipment in compliance with food service bar safety standards Buss tables and clear empty dishes or glasses promptly to ensure a tidy venue environment Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and efficiently Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and setup for events or service periods Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations Prepare food based on a limited menu (pizzas, fried food, sandwiches) Operate POS systems like Toast for carry out orders Assist with venue beverage service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of drinks to guests Perform general cleaning duties including bar cleaning, bussing, and venue sanitation to uphold hygiene standards Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Experience working at bars or in hospitality venues is advantageous Knowledge of food industry safety standards and alcohol service regulations is a plus Previous roles involving heavy lifting, manual handling, or catering experience are valued Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions are required • Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
