Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in food and beverage service. The role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Knowledge of POS systems such as Square, along with strong time management skills, are essential for success in this position. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders and providing recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to safety policies Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service, catering, or banquet events when required Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math, and drink calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of liquor laws, including BASSET certification Ability to work flexible hours including nights Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join our team as a who thrives in fast-paced environments, delivering top-tier service while showcasing your expertise in customer hospitality.
