Manage POS systems for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as needed while minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions efficiently, perform basic math calculations for change, and ensure accurate cashiering procedures. Uphold all food safety standards, including proper serving techniques in fine dining or casual settings, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members during busy hours such as brunch or daytime events, including catering or banquet service when required. Promote sales by recommending drinks and upselling specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Assist in setting up the bar area for daytime functions, including nightclub or event catering setups when applicable. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is essential for efficient order processing. Demonstrated ability in food service roles with a focus on customer service excellence within the food industry or hospitality sector. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal alcohol service regulations. Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and retail math for accurate cash handling. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy daytime shifts while maintaining quality service. Exposure to fine dining or retail environments involving beverage sales enhances your suitability for this role.
