In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Pay varies based on many factors. Must be available on nights and weekends. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings. Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling regulations. Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to ensure safety. Collaborate with team members during busy hours Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform basic math calculations for change and totals efficiently. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and familiarity with cashiering procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or food industry environments. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service. Certifications for food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols. Experience working in hospitality venues such as restaurants, retail environments, or catering events; banquet experience is a plus. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions involving cash handling and sales calculations. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing drinks in a fast-paced environment.
