You will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests while efficiently managing food and beverage operations. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about the food and beverage industry who enjoys engaging with people and delivering top-notch service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Mix cocktails, pour beers, and handle wine service with precision and flair, maintaining responsible serving practices in compliance with food safety standards. Cook and prepare menu items according to established recipes, ensuring high standards of food handling, presentation, and taste. Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in line with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and creating a welcoming atmosphere—especially during busy nights or events like nightclub nights or banquets. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, perform basic math for billing, and manage cashiering duties efficiently. Assist with catering events or large parties by coordinating food preparation and serving needs while maintaining a lively environment. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and kitchen station, restock supplies as needed, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Engage with guests to promote sales of beverages and menu items while building rapport that encourages repeat visits. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender or cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing. Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs enhances your ability to handle diverse customer expectations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining health compliance. Strong time management skills are necessary to juggle multiple responsibilities during busy hours seamlessly. Experience with catering events or banquet service demonstrates versatility in managing large groups effectively.
