Bartender

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar/restaurant environment, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the General Manager in daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the bar business, with a focus on food safety and hospitality. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Train, mentor, and supervise staff to enhance their performance and ensure adherence to company standards. Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and optimize product placement for maximum profitability. Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with the General Manager on promotional activities and merchandising strategies. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant management/bartending role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members alike. Experience in bartending, nightclub operations, or catering can be advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the store.
