Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Restaurant Bartender to join our vibrant team at McChesney's Pub & Grill. In this role, you will craft delightful beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your enthusiasm and hospitality will be key to ensuring every visitor has a memorable experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Club Caddie or other POS Systems Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments swiftly and accurately. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including catering or banquet events when applicable. Experience Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems but will train Demonstrated ability in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Experience working in fine dining settings or banquet environments is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is advantageous.
