Full Job Description Job Description:
Okonori is seeking a highly disciplined, expert Lead Bartender to command our premium beverage program. Located in Carmel, Okonori is an intimate, $168 per person fine dining omakase counter.

Our beverage program focuses on rare sakes, high-end Japanese whiskies, and meticulously balanced, minimalist cocktails that complement a 16-course tasting menu. We are looking for a bartender who understands that luxury bartending is about execution, speed, cleanliness, and guest discretion—not utilizing the bar as a personal social lounge.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, and sake flights with exact measurements and flawless presentation. Maintain a pristine, organized, and hyper-clean bar workspace at all times during active service. Educate guests on sake profiles, regional Japanese breweries, and whisky tasting notes. Manage high-end beverage inventory, waste logs, and bar prep efficiently. Requirements (Dealbreakers): 3+ years of experience bartending in a high-end craft cocktail lounge, luxury hotel bar, or fine dining establishment. Strong baseline knowledge of sake classifications (Junmai, Ginjo, Daiginjo) and premium spirits. Exceptional professional boundaries, emotional intelligence, and respect for management structure. Maintain strict professional boundaries with coworkers and management on the clock.
Pay:
$10.00 - $30.00 per hour
