Job Description

Job Description We are a small family run company looking for a friendly and outgoing person as a bartender/server to join our team. Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required, we will train the right person. We need someone 2-3 weekdays and at least one weekend day. Hours are usually from 10 or 10:30am (occasionally earlier for large golf events) to close. Our closing time depends on the time of year
  • we close an hour or two before dark (we DO stay open past our posted closing time if we are busy enough).
We will also have some shifts available evenings/nights for private events. We do have a dress code. Timeliness is essential.
Job duties:

  • Taking orders and serving food & beverages

You are required to tip out whomever is working in the kitchen, other than that, your tips are your tips. If you work events, you will get your bar tips AND a share of any tips we get for the event. You also get free meals and fountain drinks while working. In addition to the clubhouse, we operate as an event venue, hosting many wedding receptions, birthday parties, class reunions, etc. on site. You will have the opportunity to work many of these events as well as your regular hours. We do a considerable amount of off-site catering as well. You will be occasionally asked to help prepare for these events. If off-site events require staff, we give our employees the opportunity to work these events and make some additional money. The golf course hosts dozens of golf scrambles each year, most of which generate a lot of alcohol sales and many of which purchase a meal from us. We do expect our employees to dress appropriately for the clubhouse of a golf course. (Professional presentation please
