In this dynamic role, you will support bartenders and the entire service team by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, assisting with beverage preparation, and ensuring smooth operations during busy nights and events. Your proactive attitude will keep the bar running efficiently, allowing guests to enjoy their time in a lively, welcoming environment. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the food and beverage industry while honing your hospitality skills. Pay includes an hourly rate as well as bar tip out and bartender tip out. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as garnishes, liquor, glassware, and bar tools to ensure seamless service during peak hours Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in accordance with health standards Support food preparation tasks such as prepping garnishes or assembling simple bar snacks for guests Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to keep the bar and dining area tidy Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, order entry, and processing payments accurately Help with catering events or banquet setups by transporting supplies and ensuring timely service delivery Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred; experience in nightclubs or hotel settings is a plus Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering tasks Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting supplies or bussing tables Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or serving roles enhances your suitability for this position A background in barista work or food industry roles demonstrates versatility and customer service aptitude Join us as a Barback and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences.
