We are looking for one full-time Head Bartender to help lead shifts five nights per week. We call our bartenders "Brewleggers" at Books & Brews. Our "Head Brewlegger" assists our General Manager with administrative duties and leads service on the floor. This position is 30-40 hours per week. Head Brewleggers typically earn between $20-$30/hour after tips depending on the shift / event. We are a team service concept and tips are split evenly amongst the staff per hours worked.

Note:

At Books & Brews our staff trains and works both in the kitchen and behind the bar. All staff is required to complete all training and work as a team to provide both food and drinks guests. Applicants must have the ability / desire to work in the kitchen as well as behind the bar. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and sanitary work space. Oversee and complete opening and closing checklists. Process payments from customers. Prepare nightly cash drops and tip out spreadsheets. Provide excellent customer service per company standards. Educate staff and guests on craft beer and the brewing process. Assist General Manager with new employee training. Assist General Manager with ordering and inventory. Assist General Manager with Point of Sale software and reports. Other duties as required. Qualifications Must have (or obtain) an Indiana Server Permit (also referred to as an Employee Liquor License). Must have reliable transportation. Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be well organized with an attention to detail. Server / bartending knowledge is not required but applicants must desire to learn. Previous employee training / management experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
