Start between 4-6 pm till close. Must be able to obtain your indiana liquor license. Will also be serving food along with beverages until kitchen closes. Must have reliable transportation. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional beverage experiences, provide outstanding customer service, and create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your expertise in mixing drinks, managing orders efficiently, and engaging with patrons will be vital to delivering memorable moments in a fast-paced environment. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet hall, you will be the face of our establishment's hospitality and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service; handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism. Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and utensils to ensure seamless service throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events, ensuring smooth coordination during busy periods like banquets or nightclub events. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales reports; retail math knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in environments like nightclubs or hospitality venues; understanding of alcohol laws is essential. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills; multitasking is key. Knowledge of food industry terminology such as catering, food service, beverage brewing processes, and banquet operations is advantageous.
