Job Description

Job Summary Hard Truth Bottleworks is seeking an experienced craft cocktail mixologist who is passionate about hospitality, spirits education, and creating exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for executing elevated cocktails, educating guests on Hard Truth spirits, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to an innovative beverage program. Key Responsibilities Prepare and execute craft cocktails with consistency and precision. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of bourbon, whiskey, gin, agave spirits, liqueurs, and classic cocktails. Educate guests on Hard Truth products, distillation processes, and cocktail ingredients. Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized guest experiences. Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory standards. Assist in seasonal cocktail development and menu innovation. Ensure compliance with Indiana alcohol regulations and responsible alcohol service. Execute high-volume service while maintaining craft cocktail quality. Participate in staff training and beverage education programs. Support special events, tastings, VIP experiences, and brand activations. Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of craft cocktail bartending experience. Strong understanding of classic cocktail techniques and recipes. Experience with whiskey, bourbon, and premium spirits. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a distillery, cocktail bar, hotel bar, or upscale restaurant. Knowledge of barrel-aged cocktails, smoked cocktails, and modern mixology techniques. WSET, BarSmarts, Certified Bourbon Steward, or similar certifications. Experience developing cocktail menus. Familiarity with Toast POS systems. What Success Looks Like Delivers memorable guest experiences that drive repeat visits. Consistently executes cocktails to recipe specifications. Maintains beverage cost controls and minimizes waste. Demonstrates expert knowledge of Hard Truth spirits. Receives positive guest feedback and online reviews.
