Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Engage actively with guests, providing friendly, attentive, and personalized service to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following established procedures for bar area hygiene and food safety management. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process orders accurately and handle transactions smoothly. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal regulations and company policies on food safety and responsible service. Restock bar supplies regularly, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for service. Collaborate with team members to uphold a lively yet safe environment that encourages guest satisfaction. Requirements At least 2 years proven experience in a restaurant or bar setting, demonstrating strong customer service skills. At least 1 year of proven experience as a bartender Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices essential for maintaining a clean and compliant workspace. Familiarity with Toast POS system for order processing and transaction handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Understanding of responsible alcohol service laws and regulations for the State of Kansas Prior experience in food safety practices is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided. Wage Base pay starts at $8 + tips. We are looking for a bartender who has an outgoing and charismatic personality. Our bartenders need to have the customer service fluency to poach customers waiting for a table, and give them a new-found desire to sit at the bar instead. You need to be knowledgeable about spirits and classic cocktails, with a flair for teaching servers about the flavor profiles of drinks.
