At Apiary, bartending is more than serving drinks — it's helping create exceptional guest experiences at weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and upscale gatherings. We are looking for hospitality-driven professionals who take pride in service, teamwork, professionalism, and event execution. This is event work. Our bartenders are part of a larger service team responsible for setting up, executing, and breaking down events at a high level. We are looking for individuals who understand that great hospitality requires teamwork, urgency, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed. The right fit for this role is someone who enjoys taking care of people, works well under pressure, and understands that the job is not finished until the entire team is finished. Bartender Responsibilities Provide polished, attentive, and genuinely hospitable guest service Prepare cocktails efficiently and consistently according to Apiary standards Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, wine, bourbon, beer, and classic cocktails Anticipate guest needs and make thoughtful beverage recommendations Assist with event setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleanup responsibilities Lift, move, and transport bar equipment, product, and supplies as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar presentation throughout service Adapt to a variety of event styles, venues, and bar setups Work collaboratively with bar leads, servers, kitchen staff, and event managers Maintain professionalism, urgency, and composure during high-volume events Qualifications Previous bartending experience required (event or high-volume experience preferred) Passion for hospitality and guest experience Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Willingness to assist in all aspects of event execution Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, moving equipment, prolonged standing, and working long event shifts Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure STARS Certification required (or ability to obtain before starting) Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, weddings, and private events Must be at least 20 years and 1 day old
