Company Overview Fiddletree Kitchen & Bar is one of Lexington's upscale neighborhood restaurants. We are passionate individuals who share a common love for hospitality, creativity, and "going the extra mile" to ensure a great guest experience in a positive and professional manner.
Our philosophy is simple:
Fun is beautiful. Bartender/Server Knows the menu, including ingredients and prices. Where appropriate, explains specials, and makes recommendations to guests. Takes orders for food, and effectively communicates with Kitchen staff to ensure food is promptly and properly prepared for guests. Performs all table service functions with a commitment to guest satisfaction. Anticipates the needs of guests, i.e., more coffee. Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in inventory and cost control, and communicates with management when supplies are needed. Ensures compliance with applicable state health and liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management. Communicates guest requests and concerns to Manager on Duty. Performs other duties as required.
Environment/Requirements/Skills:
Ability to stand and walk during 4-6 hour shifts. Must have prior bartending experience. Alcohol Safe Serve and Food Handler training certificates required. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe to perform essential job functions. Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. Organized, quick thinking and can multitask. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. A positive attitude and high energy level.
