What We're Looking For:

An experienced beverage service professional focused on creating exceptional guest experiences, expertly crafting signature cocktails and serving beverages with precision and flair. This role requires a blend of creativity, strong customer engagement skills, and meticulous attention to detail to maintain a vibrant and welcoming bar atmosphere. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, the Bartender ensures a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience for every guest.

Ability to handle multiple drink orders efficiently, especially during peak hours. Strong focus on providing outstanding service to guests and enhancing their experience. What You'll Do:

Job Specific Maintains beverage staffing levels so as to provide for optimal performance Establishes and ensures adherence to all departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Responsible for smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of outlet, to include: labor management, supervision of all aspects of service, inventory control and product selection Personally supervises all activities for production/delivery of quality product/service Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience Review and submits for approval all department storeroom requisitions, ensures operational costs are kept within forecasted budgetary guidelines Establishes appropriate par levels for all inventories so as to support forecasted activities without experiencing shortages or excessive inventory situations. Ensures security, control and proper use of operating supplies and equipment for all beverage outlets Attends all required hotel meetings to keep abreast of in-house activities, special promotions and upcoming events, maintain communications with other departments within the hotel Communicates daily with outlet managers to obtain/provide current information regarding daily activities/functions and upcoming events Trains personnel as needed in order to ensure superior levels of performance Follows Hire Training and ongoing Star Service Competency programs in accordance with hotel policy Evaluates changes in guest needs, the hotels guest mix and industry competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes necessary to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market dominance and exceptional financial performance Maintenance of beverage menu Other duties as assigned General Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance. Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Thorough knowledge of all matters related to the proper administration of "up-scale" beverage service operations.

Certifications:

TIPS or Equivalent beverage certification Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to provide maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to guest satisfaction criteria Beverage knowledge, including fine wines, liquors, beers and sake Ability to motivate staff to provide exceptional service during slow and busy meal periods Self motivated to take on projects to improve restaurant and lounge Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
