Be part of a team that serves awesome food and fun craft cocktails. We're here to provide amazing hospitality, and that includes our support staff going above and beyond to make sure our guests feel as welcome and as happy as possible. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with servers, bartenders, cooks, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is preferred, but we are open to training the right applicants. Must come with a willingness to learn and grow no matter your experience level.

Qualifications:

Great communication skills A multi-tasker; you can expedite food, deliver drinks to tables, ensure tables are constantly being cleaned and reset, assisting with bartending restocking and cleanliness of bar drinkware and complete running side work on a constant basis Team player with a desire to learn and grow Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant is a plus Able to lift up to 50 lbs and continuously bend, reach and twist; you're constantly on the move Must be at least 18 years old

Roles & Responsibilities:

Preparing dining room for guests by clearing tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and returning them to the kitchen Setting up team for success with utensils, plates for service, drinkware, bar stock of drinks and ingredients, and glassware Maintains table service throughout guests' meals by removing empty plates from courses as completed Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals Supports waitstaff and bartenders by restocking bar drinks and ingredients as needed, keeping bar space clean and organized, maintaining proper care of glassware, as well as being alert to spills or any other needs from guests and fellow employees alike Communication with managers and other employees with regards to needs of guests or any issues that may arise in relation to your role as support What you'll gain: Flexible scheduling Full- and part-time availability Discounted Shift Meal Up to 30% discount for your party when dining in as a guest Career growth opportunities The best training in the food and beverage industry The Shōjō Restaurant Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
