Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant sushi restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar area, creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving expertly crafted beverages. Your passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of beverage trends will help us deliver memorable experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hospitality, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a lively dining environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, offering recommendations and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings and cater to guest preferences. Restock bar supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Skills Proven experience in bartending within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, and craft beer trends. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests warmly and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours smoothly. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage service and food handling in a restaurant environment.
